Privacy statement

This Privacy Policy explains the nature, scope and purpose of the processing of your personal data (hereinafter referred to as "data") on this website and its affiliated online offers (collectively referred to as "online offer").

Definitions (leaning on article 4 GDPR)

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. That is not only your name. That means also any online identifier like you ip address.

Processing means any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data. These include, among others collection, storage, alteration, retrieval, consultation, use and erasure.

controller means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.

Types of processed data

These data will be processed for this online offer:

  • Contact data (title, name, mail address)
  • Content data (messages to me, comments)
  • Meta data (ip address, viewed web pages)

Purpose of data processing

I process you data because of:

  • to provide you my online offer (using your ip address)
  • to answer your questions and comments (by e-mail or postal)
  • to do safety measures (saving your ip address)

Legal basis of data processing (Article 6 GDPR)

Usually I store your data:

  • because it is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by me. E.g. a) To answer a question from you, which needs some time to develop or create b) to operate this online offer (including receiving and sending e-mails) or c) to appropriate safeguards for the online offer. [point 1f]
  • because it is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract [point 1b]
  • because it is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which I am subject (u.a. financial documentation) [point 1c]
  • because you gave consent to the processing of your personal data, that I can or should contact you later on. [point 1a]

When I don't need yout data any more, I will remove it as soon as possible. Usually I will check the needs for saving your data every year. The data, whcih will be saved in my backups, will remain some years longer.

Transfer of your data

Usually nobody will get your data from me. The data will remain in my own systems (Computer, backup, mail client and mail server).

To view my online offers my hosting provider (e.g. your ip address, viewed pages and mails to me). I have an agreement for contract data processing with my hosting provider pursuant to point 28 GDPR. Server logs will be deleted after 7 days. My hosting provider will keep backups for 4 weeks. ASfter that the data will be deleted.

If we should have an agreement, it is possible that I will trasnfer some data from you to others, like:

  • authorities, if provided by law
  • consultants (e.g. tax consultants)
  • payment service provider

Your rights

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. [Article 7 GDPR, point 3]

You have the right to obtain from me confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed. Where that is the case (which is rarely), I should give you access to your personal data. However, sometimes I need more data from you to verify, that you are the person, which wants to access the data (see also recital 64 GDPR). [Article 15 GDPR]

You have the right to rectification your data, which I stored. [Article 16 GDPR]

You have the right to obtain the erasure of your data concerning you. [Article 17 GDPR] Please note, that I can delete your data only, when there are no conflicts with other people or by laws. [see also point 3b and 3e].

You have the right to restrict the processing of your data. [Article 18 GDPR]

You have the right to receive your data which I stored in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and you have the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from me to which the personal data have been provided. [Article 20 GDPR]

You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you which is based on point (e) or (f) of Article 6. [Article 21 GDPR]

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. [Article 77 GDPR]
